Complete Beauty Guide: My Favorite Beauty Products & Current Makeup Routine

Bralette: Victoria's Secret | Bow Decorative Pillow: Lauren Conrad |
Faux Fur Pillow: Bed Bath & Beyond | Lipstick: Yves Saint Laurent

The only thing I love more than sleeping in is grabbing a cup of freshly-brewed coffee and putting on my makeup in the morning. As incredible as post-sunrise snoozing can be, I can't help but delight in the feeling I get from spending some time on my own in the early daylight, having fun with what colors to use and encouraging myself to enter the day looking and feeling my best.

Because I love so many different products, this post is a bit longer than usual. I get a lot of questions on how I do my makeup and what I use, so I've made a complete guide split into sections detailing all of my recommendations in addition to my personal favorite products. I've also attached links so that you can shop away! I hope this is helpful, and as always please feel free to comment below or send me an email if you have any questions! I love hearing from you, and I hope you all enjoy! xx

Skin Care: Taking care of my skin and keeping it healthy is definitely the most important part of my beauty routine, as I want it to look young and fresh for as long as possible, and makeup can only do so much! For over a year I have used the Neutrogena Healthy Skin Boosters facial cleanser with white tea and vitamin E to wash my face, and I absolutely love it. It has such a fresh smell and keeps my skin smooth and clear. I'm also obsessed with Neutrogena's Hydro Boost Water Gel; I've tried multiple moisturizers and none have impressed me the way this one has! I love how well it hydrates my skin and I doubt I will ever remove it from my skin care routine. Some nights I will add a little extra moisture underneath my eyes with the Kiehl's Creamy Eye Treatment with avocado. It refreshes that area overnight and makes my routine just a bit more luxurious. My favorite mask is the Ahava Time To Clear Purifying Mud Mask - it really deep-cleanses any impurities in my skin! I will use it every few nights if my skin is acting up or any time I want to more deeply purify my face.

Foundation & Concealer: I always begin my makeup routine with my face, starting with concealer, blush, and bronzer. My absolutely favorite concealer (and quite possibly my favorite makeup product of all time!) is Maybelline's Instant Age Rewind treatment concealer (I wear the shade Fair). I cannot stress how much I adore this! It is SO much smoother and more blendable for me than any high-end concealer I've tried. I religiously use it under my eyes and to cover any imperfections on my face, and set it all with the bareMinerals Well-Rested Eye Brightener powder. To apply these, I have always used the bareMinerals max coverage concealer brush. Many days, I only use concealer where needed as a base for my face makeup, but if I do want to add foundation I use the bareMinerals Original Foundation.

SHOP FOUNDATION & CONCEALER:

Blush, Bronzer, Contour, & Highlight: My go-to blush is the Wet N Wild Color Icon in the shade Mellow Wine. Wet N Wild's pigmentation is absolutely amazing, and with the super affordable prices, you can't go wrong! I also love Milani's Baked Powder Blush in the shade Luminoso. For bronzer, I primarily use bareMinerals' Warmth. Again, I don't usually feel the need to add anything more than this, but I do love Benefit's Hoola Bronzer (really, who can't?!) as an alternative. To apply blush, bronzer, and any extra face powder, I LOVE using the Real Techniques face brushes - seriously, it doesn't get better than these brushes. They are incredible! For any contouring (I often choose to contour only on the sides of my nose), I love Wet N Wild's MegaGlo Contouring Palette in the shade Dulce De Leche. To contour my nose, I use the Coastal Scents BR-C-S08 blending brush. I rarely add highlighter to my everyday routine, but when I do want to add a pop to my cheekbones, I always, always reach for MAC's Strobe Cream. It has SUCH a gorgeous, dewy finish and looks so natural and fresh on the skin - just remember to set it with a touch of powder! I like to use either more of the Well-Rested or a hint of the Ulta Illuminator in the shade Yellow Diamond.

SHOP BLUSH, BRONZER, CONTOUR, & HIGHLIGHT:

Eyes: Whether I am putting on a full face of makeup or just applying a few touch ups for a casual day, I always make sure to add mascara to enhance and emphasize my eyes. For the past few months my favorite has been Maybelline's Lash Sensational Full Fan Effect Mascara in the shade Blackest Black. I can always rely on this to give me those long, clump-free lashes! My all-time favorite eye palette is the Urban Decay Naked 2. Coming from a girl who adores having loads of eyeshadow options, I really have never loved any one palette's combination of colors and pigmentation more than this one's. It's always the palette I reach for if I'm packing for vacation or getting ready in a rush! I almost daily apply the shade Verve to my lid and underneath the inner corner of my eye as a brightener; I love it so much that I had to buy it separately as an individual shadow! Many times, I like to add the shade Pistol to the crease and outer corner of my eye, but I also love using the rose-gold shade from the Rosie For Autograph Eyeshadow Palette in the shade Copper Gold Rush as an alternative crease color. As far as my other favorite palettes, I just love the Too Faced Boudoir Eyes palette for its array of feminine shadows, as well as the LORAC Pro Palette (I really don't think anyone has LORAC beaten on pigmentation). I always use the EcoTools Eye Brushes to apply all of my eyeshadow; again, these are AMAZING brushes and I would never replace them with anything else. For eyeliner, I usually apply a black shadow (such as Blackout from the Naked 2) with the liner side of the EcoTools brush to the corner of my eye and blend it in a bit to open and lengthen the look of my eye. If I do want to switch it up with a liquid liner, I reach for either the L'oreal Infallible Super Slim Liquid Eyeliner in the shade Black or the Kat Von D Tattoo Liner in the shade Trooper.

SHOP EYES:

Lipsticks: As much as I love all makeup, there is nothing I enjoy more than adding the perfect lip to finish off a look. My all-time favorite and go-to color is the Ulta lipstick in the shade 241. It's a darker nude (my preferred color on my skin tone) and is what I reach for when I need a color that I am positive will always add to my look for the better. A close second favorite that gives a similar effect is the Rosie For Autograph lipstick in the shade Lady Rose, which is a bit lighter and more pink. When I want to do a red lip, I like to use the L'oreal Infallible Le Rouge Lip Colour in the shade Refined Ruby or the NARS Velvet Matte Lipstick Pencil in the shade Cruella. For a very sheer, glossy pink lip, I recommend the Yves Saint Laurent Rouge Volupte Shine Lipstick no. 44. One other favorite is Maybelline's Divine Wine, which is a GORGEOUS plum shade that I love to wear in the fall specifically and that adds to any autumnal look. For a lighter berry shade, I love the Revlon ColorBurst Matte Balm in the shade Sultry.

SHOP LIPSTICKS:

Nails: I love having my nails long and healthy, and I've found that the OPI Nail Envy Strengthener really helps to keep them strong and to prevent breakage. My favorite and most commonly worn nail color is Essie's Tying The Knotie, but I also wear their very similar shade Fiji. For a color that is more on the nude side and not as pastel pink (sorry!! I'm dedicated), I love OPI's Nail Lacquer in Dulce De Leche. My favorite classic red to wear is the Lancome Vernis In Love Nail Polish in the shade Red Cabaret.

SHOP NAIL LACQUERS:

Self-Tanner: Although I haven't tried many self-tanners, I have been loving the Jergens Natural Glow Daily Moisturizer for a few months now. It gives me a very pretty gradual color while helping to hydrate my skin! It's also very affordable for a self-tanner, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking to build some color without breaking the bank.

SHOP SELF-TANNER:

Fragrance: If you know me personally, you'll probably know that my absolute favorite perfume is the Lancome Tresor Midnight Rose Eau De Parfum. It's been my signature scent since high school, and to this day I remain obsessed! I also adore the Viktor & Rolf Flowerbomb (again, who couldn't!). When I want to wear something more floral (and particularly in the spring), a great option is the Dolce & Gabbana Dolce Eau De Parfum.

  4. Ivory and grayish will in general make the skin look milder and can accordingly bolster a progressively exciting makeup style. White will in general watch solid and washes out most faces so think about utilizing gentler hues to improve the face.https://plasticspot.io/plastic-surgery-calgary

  5. Apply dark eyeliner softly and layer of dark hued mascara to twist your eyelashes. This look is immaculate and exotic for night trips yet amid day this sort of cosmetics is by all accounts substantial. permanent makeup north London
